Dr. Dalena was born in Morristown, N.J. He received his B.A. with Honors at Rutgers University and his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and his fellowship in Digestive Diseases at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Dalena is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Dalena has received numerous awards including “Top Doctor” in New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Castle Connolly Guide, and the Guide to Top Doctors. Outside the field of medicine, Dr. Dalena competes in triathlons and marathons.
